Enjoy a 12-day comprehensive tour to discover all of Jordan! This tour offers you a combination of culture, adventure, and relaxation!  

 

Day 1: Welcome to Jordan!


Welcome to Jordan! Upon arrival you will be met and greeted by your driver who will pick you up from the airport or border to take you to Amman hotel for overnight.

If you arrive in the morning, you can take a city tour that will show you the most famous sites of the capital including The Citadel, the Roman Theatre, the Temple of Hercules, as well as, same downtown souks. If you want to wander Amman on your own today, feel free to do it.


Day 2: Pella - Um Qais - Amman

Rise and shine! After a delicious breakfast at a restaurant, your driver will take you north to visit the impressive ruins of Pella , the ruins of Pella portray a dramatic sweep of history, from the Bronze and Iron Ages through to the Umayyads and Mamluks. Evidence has been unearthed which indicates that while Pella has clearly been inhabited for at least the last 6000 years, There is a restaurant where you 'll also have an astonishing lunch while admiring the ruins.

Afterwards, you'll continue further north to the north-western corner of Jordan, in the hills above the Jordan Valley, are the ruins of the Decapolis city of Gadara (now called Um Qais). The site is striking because of its juxtaposition of Roman ruins with an abandoned Ottoman-era village, as well as its tremendous vantage point, with views of three countries (Jordan, Syria, and the Palestinian Territories), encompassing the Golan Heights, Mt Hermon and the Sea of Galilee.

In the late afternoon, after a day full of excitement, you’ll return to your hotel in Amman to get your well-deserved rest.


Day 3: Off To Petra!

In the morning, your driver will take you south to Petra!

Along the way, you’ll stop at Karak to visit the impressive Crusader Castle. It is a crusader castle built during the 12th century and was initially called Crac Des Moabites. This castle is also the biggest crusader castle ever to have been constructed in the Levant.

Then you’ll continue down the ancient trade route, the Kings Highway, to Shobak Castle. Shobak was originally called Krak de Montreal or Mons Regalis. Built in 1115, it was the first of many fortifications built beyond the Jordan by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem to guard the road from Egypt to Damascus. It successfully resisted a number of sieges until it fell to Saladin's troops in 1189.

In the late afternoon, you will reach ancient Petra.

Day 4: Wander Petra!

Today is entirely dedicated to wandering ancient Petra.

In the morning, you will be transferred there to start your tour. Did you know that Petra is known as The Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved? It is a symbol of Jordan and a must-visit destination! 

You'll walk through the Siq and see the world famous treasury - considered one of the most stunning buildings ever built! 

Afterward, you'll visit the Street of Facades and perhaps climb up to the High Place of Sacrifice. If you have the energy, climb up the 800 steps up to the Monastery - Petra's most astonishing landmark.

In the afternoon, your driver will transfer you to Wadi Rum, where you will spend the night under the stars in a Bedouin camp in the desert.

In the evening , Dinner will be served at the campsite with a delicious, traditional meal. Enjoy the hospitality of the locals and their traditional cuisine!

Day 5: Discover The Beauty Of Wadi Rum!

Rise and shine! Today, you are going to experience an unforgettable adventure! 

A local Bedouin guide will pick you up with a 4WD from your camp and take you to the starting point of a beautiful trail along a scenic route .

Have you always wanted to know what it is like to live in the desert? Today, you have the unique opportunity to see for yourself! You have the opportunity to visit the Nabatean inscriptions, the rock canyons, the sand dunes, and Lawrence of Arabia’s House. Don't forget to bring your camera because there is a lot to capture!

After Wandering Wadi Rum, your driver will pick you up and take you to Aqaba where you will have a City Tour and overnight stay.

 

Day 6: Relax in Aqaba ..

Today, you'll have a day at leisure in Aqaba where you can relax at the pool or the beach. What about some diving or snorkeling to admire the beautiful coral reef and its inhabitants? Who knows you might bump into some old wrecks too! an optional boat tour can be arranged with a snorkeling kit with Lunch , trainer is already on-board to teach you if you don't know how to snorkel !

If you don’t feel like getting wet, go for a walking tour through Downtown Aqaba or do some souvenir shopping. It is entirely up to you how you will spend the day. Have fun!

Day 7: Admire The Beauty Of Dana Nature Reserve!

Rise and shine!

After a relaxing morning, your driver will take you to the Dana Nature Reserve which offers an amazing view of green valleys. Spending your day at Dana is a blessing, the scenery is breathtaking, mountains, rock formation, air quality,  even flora and fauna is unique,

Visit the charming 15th Century stone village of Dana or go on a hike through the nature reserve and enjoy the diverse landscapes and experience the traditional Bedouin lifestyle.


Day 8: A Relaxing Day At The Dead Sea!

 In the morning, your driver will pick you up and take you north to the Salt Lake, the Dead Sea .

Today, you'll have the a day to experience the Dead Sea. Go get yourself a full body mud treatment or float in the rich mineral water! You'll also have the option to visit one of the nearby spas or get a soothing massage.

Have fun in the mud, known to be quite beneficial for your health, and fully relax at the Dead Sea - you deserve it!

* A visit enroute to The Dead Sea Panorama Complex [ Restaurant & Museum] can be offered. 

 

Day 9: Let's get Spiritual!

In the Morning , you can have a quick dip in the pool , but afterwards your driver will pick you up for a Spiritual tour.

Your first stop will be at the Baptism Site, Bethany beyond the Jordan River has been recognized, by all major traditional Christian Churches, as the site where Jesus was baptized and has been visited by many Christian leaders.

In the afternoon, you will reach Madaba, an ancient city where you will have the unique opportunity to see astonishing old mosaics as well as famous churches and monuments!

On the way, you’ll stop at Mount Nebo, from a platform in front of the church, built by the early Christians in 393 AD to commemorate the site of Moses’ death, you can see, as Moses did, the vast panorama that encompasses the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem.

By Evening you'll be transferred back to the Capital Amman for overnight.

Day 10: An extra bit of History!

 After having breakfast , you’ll head north to Ajloun castle, Ajloun Castle, The fortress is built upon the apex of the hill above Ajloun, and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.

A short stop at Anjara, at the modern sanctuary of Our Lady of the Mountain Church - a rebuilt cave that is venerated as a place where Jesus and his mother Mary passed during their journeys.

Then your tour will continue to the Roman City of Jerash, where you'll have lunch overviewing the ancient ruins,

Gerasa became an urban centre during the 3rd century BC and a member of the federation of Greek cities known as the Decapolis ("ten cities" in Greek). Jerash prospered during the 1st century BC as a result of its position on the incense and spice trade route from the Arabian Peninsula to Syria and the Mediterranean region.

 


Day 11: What's in the East !

Today it is possible to see many relics of the early and medieval Islamic periods in Jordan. Dotted throughout the steppe-like terrain of eastern Jordan and the central hills are numerous historic ruins, including castles, forts, towers, baths, caravan inns and fortified palaces. Known collectively as the desert castles or desert palaces, they were originally part of a chain stretching from north of Damascus down to Jericho.

Your journey will reach to Um Al Jimal , Um Al Jimal is a city of “all black”, constructed exclusively with dark, volcanic basalt rock, the site was established by the Nabataeans and continued under the Romans, later being revived by thriving Byzantine and Umayyad communities. After destruction by an earthquake, it was sporadically inhabited until it was resettled by Druze and Masaeid in the 20th Century. 


Day 12: Farewell, Jordan!

Even the most epic vacations have to come to an end!

It is time to go home and we can only imagine the unique chance you had to visit one of the oldest towns in the world and to relax at the Dead Sea!
